Paperman/紙人 這首歌是描寫八卦報紙只會散播謠言，和那些假的、沒經過查證的故事所造成的傷害。
紙人有兩種含義，指的是記者，也可以是虛假的人。他們虛有其表，沒有理想，終將被世人離棄，因為說出的話盡是謊言。
這些紙人不會放大你的努力，或是曾為任何事默默付出，只要你犯錯一次，他們馬上就會聚焦甚至放大，因為這就是他們賺錢的手段。
紅色是代表煽情的顏色。是血的顏色，同時也是英國八卦小報的代表色。紙船兩字，代表著紙是抵不過水，紙船馬上就會沉，就像八卦小報一樣經不起檢驗。他們以報導垃圾新聞為生，但他們的勢力龐大。 雖然內容滿篇謊言，但當你被抹黑時，傷害就已經造成了。低級報紙用的是便宜墨水，粗糙的印刷會沾得你滿手都是墨水，心靈也跟著被玷污。閱讀這些廢話、傳散這些謠言，你就也成了他們的幫兇。
這些紙人藉由別人的痛苦發財，到最後，除了那些受害者還有從中獲利的人以外，群眾早已忘記這些沒有意義的東西，傷害是千真萬確的，但那些紙人卻都是全身而退的不沾鍋。
